Abstract
Models are purposeful abstractions used in todays software engineering processes. Experience shows that the application of models reduces engineering costs, allows for easy reuse, and improves product quality. Models can be used for several purposes at various levels of abstraction. In this paper, we discuss the differences of system models and test models. For that, we consider several aspects of models and investigate if they can be used as distinctive features of system models and test models.
